CINDY SIGAL, LMFT
Cindy Sigal, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in Complex Trauma. Cindy earned her Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy (MSMFT) from The Family Institute at Northwestern University and her BA and Master in Fine Arts (MFA) in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College. She works with individuals, couples, and groups. She utilizes an Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST) approach, which incorporates a trauma-informed, intersectional, and anti-oppressive perspective, and draws upon a variety of theories and approaches, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory.
RACHAEL MASON
Rachael Mason is a Director, Writer, Teacher schooled in the famed Chicago improv scene. While at The Second City, iO, Annoyance she developed and now teaches her patented brand of not “yes and” but “Yes And Because" helping performers access the rarest of specifics, creating scenes that are rich and sustainable. She has toured and taught all over the world, headlining festivals with her comedy partner Susan Messing as The Boys.
GHAZALA IRSHAD
Ghazala Irshad is The Marshall Project's Copy Chief. She was most recently an editor at Newsy, where she covered beats ranging from race and gender to gun legislation. Ghazala has also reported on abuses of power during the Arab Spring in Egypt, during which time she received her master's degree in TV and digital journalism from the American University in Cairo.
DR. NATASHA ANUSHRI ANANDARAJA, MD, MPH
Natasha Anushri Anandaraja, MD, MPH was born in the wilds of New Zealand and earned her medical degree at the University of Auckland. She worked for international non-governmental organizations on child health and disaster relief in Sri Lanka and India before coming to Mount Sinai where she trained in Pediatrics.
ROSIE RED, LPC
Red, as she goes by, is a licensed professional counselor with a focus on trauma and diversity. Red, a certified yoga instructor, is a vibrant, grounded, fun-loving but deep individual who brings all those characteristics to everything she does.
COLLEEN MARES
Colleen hails from the woods of northeast Wisconsin but has considered Chicago home for the last 10 years. She started her career in the music industry while still in college, working at a music licensing firm and promoting independent concerts throughout the city. In 2013, she left Universal Music Publishing and jumped on tour with a young Chance The Rapper.
