DR. NATASHA ANUSHRI ANANDARAJA, MD, MPH
Natasha Anushri Anandaraja, MD, MPH sits on our Advisory Board. She was born in the wilds of New Zealand and earned her medical degree at the University of Auckland. She worked for international non-governmental organizations on child health and disaster relief in Sri Lanka and India before coming to Mount Sinai where she trained in Pediatrics.
On finishing her residency, Dr. Anandaraja entered a Global Health Fellowship at Mount Sinai where she completed a Master's degree in Public Health and training in Tropical and Travel Medicine at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Peru. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the departments of Pediatrics and Medical Education at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
She is the Director of the Mount Sinai Global Health Training program and the Pediatric Travel Medicine clinic. She is also faculty of the Mount Sinai Masters in Public Health program, and oversees training projects for Mount Sinai trainees and local healthcare workers in Mozambique and India. Dr. Anandaraja co-chairs the Global Heath Committee for the Associated Medical Schools of New York.
