La Luna
These one of a kind, hand made, locally produced hats were made deep in the jungles of Guatemala. In her six months of living in Guatemala in 2021, our founder met a range of brilliant and talented local artists, including a local Mayan family and women's cooperative that helps elevate Mayan women and their families out of poverty as well as employs local artists. In collaborating with her, we have created these one-of-a-kind handmade hats. The fabric atop the hats have all been hand dyed using traditional Mayan coloring and weaving techniques. Each hat is a little different so no two hats are exactly alike.
All proceeds from these hats help fund our Humor for Hope HALL PASS program: a free mental health based arts program that uses comedy as a form of therapy for under-funded and under-resourced schools for students experiencing high levels of trauma.
